Eugenie - Adopted
Hi, there. My name is Eugenie and I am a female Australian Shepherd blend, born on February 24, 2019. I had a cone (see original picture in comments, below) because I suffered an eye injury when I was in the shelter with my mom and siblings. They got me to a doctor really quick and my eye was sutured closed, in hopes that they could save my eye. (They really weren't sure it would work, but we all wanted to try to keep from removing my eye.) I got used to using one eye, but guess what?! I CAN NOW SEE OUT OF BOTH EYES!! I'm so glad my human friends wanted to do all they could to save my eye! I can't see as well as out of my other eye, but I can SEE! Kinda weird, right now, but I know I'll get used to it! See how my ears look funny? That's because I've had to wear a cone for SOOOO long, but I bet that'll change. If not, I don't care, because I can see. My foster says I am very active, love toys, and love to play in the backyard in the grass and help my foster dig holes in her garden, for planting stuff. I have a good appetite and she says I'm such a wonderful little girl! I think cats are kinda weird, but I have been around them. Gotta say, I think I sound great. Want to come meet me?
