Zia - ADOPTED Hi! I'm Zia from the Rodeo litter. I like to think of myself as the litter spokesperson since my brothers are such twits! I was born July 31 so I'm 2 months old...wow! I'm working on learning "sit" and "wait" and am quite consistent about using the potty pads. I hold my own with my brothers; we haven't met a person we don't like and will clean your ears for you while we give you kisses and play in your hair...hee, hee. (We haven't met other dogs or cats yet since we haven't had our shots.) I'm really, really smart so I want to learn lots and lots of good manners and skills! Play tug with me, rub my belly, scratch my ears, feed me and love me and I'm ready to idolize you forever and ever! Stella - ADOPTED
Oh, hello, I am Stella. My story is an emotional one. I found myself at shelter in Roswell, New Mexico. Thanks to Bridges to Home I now have my own family and my own pack of wonderful dogs. In addition to be gorgeous I am also full of love and I have some special skills. My mom says I'd be a great therapy dog, because apparently the opera is not hiring just now. You should hear my voice! Bull - ADOPTED I'm Bull of the Rodeo litter and I consider myself the leader of the pack...my sister Zia argues the point. Well, okay, I do let her push me around sometimes, but what's a pup to do? I'm a cowboy and a gentleman. I was born July 31, so I'm 2 months old and have started my age-appropriate shot series. We're a rough and tumble bunch when we play with each other, but are much more calm (usually) when our foster plays with us...cause we love her lots! I like to play King of the Hill and sit on top of our stuffed Mama Bear. I'm working on learning "sit" and "wait" and am quite consistent about using the potty pads. My name's Buck folks and I'm part of the Rodeo litter. We're fun, rough and tumble pups with each other but respectful of our elders (our foster mum is old...hee, hee). I tend to sit back and check out my surroundings before I jump in, but give me a chance and I'm climbing to my foster's shoulders to give her kisses. Just because I look a little soulful once in a while don't forget I can hold my own with my wild west bro, Bull. I think I listen best when our foster is talking to us, too. You’ll know why they call me Stilts when you meet me! They tell me I’m a tripod. I don’t know what that means, I just know I don’t have to lift my leg to pee like the other boy dogs! (If you scratch my tummy, I wiggle my nub. My people laugh and love on me more, when I do that!) had to have some surgeries, but now I am all ready to become part of a family! I’m so excited! I love to run and play, now. It is so much fun. I’m about 4 years old and I am a chihuahua (4 years old is very puppy-ish for a chihuahua). I get along great with other dogs, and cats, and I LOVE people! My foster family tells me I am super goofy and affectionate and they hope I find the BEST home ever! I’m also really good at keeping your lap warm, if you’d like. Would you like to give me a home? I’ll give you lots of love and attention. Come check me out! |
